The Christmas decorations are packed away for another year with the exception of the nativity set. The nativity will stay out until January 6th, when this trio will join the other pieces at the stable.
I was playing with depth of focus a little to see how the look changed with one, two, all or none of the figures in focus.
The most critical thing I learned with this shot is that I really, really need to dust the hall table.
Nice detail here, I like to play with DOF, too.
ReplyDeleteLOL at your comment about dusting the table!
You have made me laugh, isn't it amazing how these cameras really pick up our dirt...I have noticed this at my house several times! I love your ceramic pieces, did you paint them??
ReplyDeleteLove the soft colors of The Maji & the DOF. Also love the composition and your presentation.
ReplyDeleteDust? What dust? lol
That is MAGI(C) I feek the lack of focus is fitting because the focus was ALL on the person they were visiting. So don't sweat it, it is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had put away my Christmas decorations.
ReplyDeletePlaying with DOF is always fun but dusting the table is not!!
ReplyDeleteIt is fun to play, the clone tool works well on dust...
ReplyDeleteI love your nativity figures and the way you shot this as well. Oh, and the presentation is way cool!
ReplyDeleteI really like the reflection of the figures on the table.
