It's certainly a blessing to be able to share something I enjoy with a grandson who is equally interested. Eight year old Joshua and I spent an enjoyable hour photographing downtown Indianapolis.
He certainly looks like he knows what he is doing. Once upon a time my son, also Joshua, used to take photos with me. Then he became a teenager. I missed those days. Time spent like this is as they say "priceless".
I'm more hesitant with adults--sometimes they "know everything" and feel the need to adjust my settings which makes me cranky! Kids, though, are usually great with my cameras. Respectful and thrilled to learn. My #1 rule with the kids is that the strap goes around their necks first thing. No dropping the camera that way!
Recently relocated. Owner of a massive pile of boxes, full and empty. Telecommutes most of the time so the "office" is anywehre I have a great internet connection and my portable hard drive.
It looks like he is a natural...you better keep an eye on that camera or it will be gone LOL

ReplyDeleteThey usually have such a fine sense of what makes a good photo. You should invite him to be a guest blogger on your blog!

You are brave! I am hesitant to lend my camera even to adults!
