BLOOMS

One tulip in bloom after a few warm, sunny days and the promise of more blooms in the coming days.

The circular blur in the high background is casued by a new toy--a wide angle/macro lens that screws onto other lens I own. I'm in the early stages of learning what can be done with it. Very low cost fun.

  1. Looks like a fun lens..you will have to let me know if you like it! Love how the light shines through part of the petal on this tulip and how it contrasts nicely w/ the shadowed areas...very pretty!

  2. I am so envious of anyone that is getting color in their yards right now. Great DOF and clarity of color.

  4. Oh, that's so pretty! We have a few of the tiny early tulips coming up that are that same color. My favorite! Your bokeh is lovely...
